I did most of this in preparation for a year abroad with hubby and two children, with a departure date of June 16, 2020... and then Covid came barreling in.

Thinking of keeping the blog alive, but the reality is, I spent 30% of my time writing and 70% grumpily messing with menus, optimizing SEO, fixing photos, tweaking font sizes, etc. It was super unfulfilling.

Now I'm here at Medium thinking I can spend 70% of my time writing-- which is my love-- and 30% networking, optimizing SEO, making comments like this one, etc.

Hoping I'm right about that.
